As Tranquil Streams

September 5, 2021
Buckman Bridge Unitarian Universalist Church

In 1961, the American Unitarian Association and the Universalist Church of America merged to become the Unitarian Universalist Association that has continued to the present day. Each tradition had its own rich history and theology. Unitarians and Universalists had to give up some of their own unique identity in order to create something new. They entered a period of uncertainty and unknowing, embracing the possibility of a future in which liberal religion thrived. This service explores the lessons we can learn from this time in our faith's history.

Answering the Call of Love

October 25, 2020
Buckman Bridge Unitarian Universalist Church

When we engage in acts of service and social witness as Unitarian Universalists, our actions are motivated by the all-encompassing love that is at the core of our Unitarian Universalist faith. This love is stronger than hate and fear, and it calls us to serve those in need and bear witness to the injustice and suffering we see in the world. This service will explore how we might answer the call of love together as a congregation.
